Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a front-end associate who will provide efficient checkout services, assist customers, and promote additional programs. You will weigh, scan, and bag groceries while maintaining accuracy and a friendly attitude in a busy retail environment.

The role requires basic math skills, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Training is provided, and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• TABC/LACT certification where applicable.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register at all times.
• Greet customers, answer questions, locate and promote products, and respond to concerns.
• Promote enrollment in the Thank You Card program and assist with sign-up.
• Keep front-end areas stocked and organized, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
