Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio is hiring for a full-time Cashier/Sales Floor Associate at a new Mentor, Ohio store. You will deliver outstanding customer and donor service, operate the POS, handle transactions, and help stock and merchandise on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills; comfortable handling cash.
• Prior retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to identify quality, color tones, and merchandise categories.
• Experience with POS systems and basic computer skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer and donor service at every interaction.
• Operate the POS system, handle transactions, and maintain accurate cash records.
• Support programs such as Round Up and Good Points.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise sales floor inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Assist with training new team members.
• Follow all agency policies, safety, and security procedures.
• End every transaction with a positive message: "You changed a life today-thank you!"
