Qualifications

• Patience in dealing with customers and Team Members.
• Maintains proficiency with the Cashier Code Book and PLUs.
• Strong basic math skills.

• Ability to deliver information clearly to customers, vendors, and Team Members.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds government regulations concerning sales of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Keeps Front End areas clean and stocked, including own register.
• Follows cash handling procedures and aims to reduce cashier variance.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Assists supervisor in managing customer flow and lines to reduce waiting time.
• Participates in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
