Whole Foods Market is seeking a customer service–oriented Team Member to support check-out processes, cashier duties, and front-end operations. You will maintain clean, welcoming registers, assist shoppers, and help ensure accurate transactions while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes friendly, efficient service and teamwork to promote Whole Foods Market’s mission and standards across store operations.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately.
• Upholds regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation.
• Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures.
• Maintains front end areas and registers; replaces tapes and ribbons as needed.
• Follows cash handling procedures and cashier variance policy.
• May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members.
• Assist supervisor in managing customer flow and reduce waiting time.
• Participate in company programs as directed by leadership.
• Arrive on time, groomed, and ready to work; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques.
