Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cash register operations.
• Understanding tender policies and procedures.
• Good mathematical and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register at all times.
• Memorize product codes and stay familiar with ads and specials.
• Greet customers and assist with locating products and answering questions.
• Promote enrollment in the Thank You Card program and assist sign-up where applicable.
• Bag groceries properly and maintain clean, safe checkout area.
• Stock front-end racks and ensure price accuracy and display cleanliness.
