Qualifications

• Familiarity with tender policies and procedures.

• Maintain high accuracy in transactions and handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Keep accurate money count in register at all times.
• Memorize product codes and stay updated on ads and specials.
• Follow tender policies for checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, etc.
• Greet customers and assist with locating and promoting products; respond to questions.
• Encourage enrollment in the Thank You Card program and assist with sign-up.
• Bag groceries properly, group like items, manage weight, and prevent cross-contamination.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies; maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Adhere to all laws regarding sales of restricted items (tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, etc.).
