Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a customer-facing position at our store. You will operate the checkout, assist customers, bag groceries, and ensure accurate pricing and tender handling. This role supports a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining safety and friendliness.

Candidates should be 16 or older, able to learn new systems, and willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided for all duties.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• TABC/LACT certification required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Assist customers with questions, locate products, and promote items.
• Bag groceries, handle tender and receipts accurately and maintain a clean, safe checkout area.
• Adhere to all store policies and safety procedures.
