Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle varied tender types (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons) per policy.
• Follow cash-handling guidelines and protect against loss.
• Adhere to item restrictions (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Maintain adherence to food safety regulations and store policies.
• Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions throughout the store.
