The position requires good communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently. It also entails standing for extended periods and occasional training for open/close duties at the on-site branch.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Experience or ability to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
• Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly teller and related services to members with accurate cash handling."
• Cross-sell other member services.
• Process mail deposits and withdrawals.
• Assist in balancing the ATM or coordinate with external source.
• May train to open/close duties on-site with the manager.
• May train to verify checks for other tellers.
• May train to perform overrides and cross-train in other branch roles.
• Attend training at headquarters or off-site as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
