Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent, preferred. Some college level courses in business, management, operations, or related field or equivalent experience, helpful.
• Knowledge of retail management and people management, a plus.
• Knowledge of overall effective business management, including operational responsibility for revenues, expenses, and risk management.
• Solid knowledge of store operations, required – merchandising, inventory control, cash control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, sales, store appearance, customer service, inventory, and management of employees, in coordination with Area Supervisor and General Manager.
• Coach, manage, train, mentor, recognize, and focus on staff performance.
• Take initiative to ensure the store’s goals are met or exceeded; emphasize team efforts; model positive interactions with customers and employees.
