Job summary

The Children’s Place in Orange, California is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will apply product knowledge, follow selling techniques, and help maintain clean, organized merchandising.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, and retail experience preferred. You will work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency; prioritize assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Communicate value and promotions; suggest solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and promote the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels; ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow merchandising standards and maintain a clean store and backroom.
• Support loss prevention and inform leadership of maintenance needs.
• Contribute to store goals and handle stock processing as needed.
