Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to be the friendly first point of contact for customers, set and maintain planograms, stock shelves, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will unload trucks, build displays, ring up purchases, assist shoppers in locating items, keep the sales floor clean, and ensure compliance with policies while protecting company assets and delivering good customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• Basic math and cash handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves.
• Build and maintain plan-o-grams and displays.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise.
• Greet customers and assist with locating items.
• Keep store clean and comply with policies.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
