Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store team member to act as the primary contact for customers and help set up plan-o-grams. You will stock merchandise, assist customers, and maintain store presentation while protecting company assets.

The role involves unloading trucks, building displays, operating the cash register, and assisting with inventory and merchandising tasks in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor as needed.
• Build and stock merchandise displays; rotate and face items on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate the cash register and scanner; collect payment and give change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners when needed.
• Keep store clean; greet customers and support sidewalk displays when required.
