Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Customer Service and Stock associate to act as the primary customer contact, assist in plan-o-gram maintenance, stock merchandise, and support storefront displays. You will greet customers, locate items, operate the register, and assist with merchandise replenishment and checkout processes.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and oral communication skills.ability to read plan-o-gram and merchandis e presentation guidance
• Basic cash handling procedures and basic math skills
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions and checkout procedures

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and bag merchandise.
• Receive payments and make change accurately.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep front-end clean and assist with sidewalk displays when needed.
