Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. Under the Store Manager, you will supervise employees, manage merchandise presentation, complete paperwork, and assist with deposits to maximize profits and protect assets.

You’ll lead cash register operations, training, and scheduling while ensuring policy compliance and planogram execution in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.

• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, displays, and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages and losses.
• Ensure cash management, refunds, deposits and store security.
