Ross Stores is seeking a Retail Associate in Lithonia, GA to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. You will greet customers, assist with merchandise, handle transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and safety.

The role requires strong communication, basic math skills, and a professional appearance. You will follow store policies, protect assets, and contribute to brand integrity while supporting a friendly, efficient shopping environment.

Qualificações

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain safety as the number one priority and practice safe behaviors in all tasks.
• Maintain a clutter-free, clear egress to emergency exits and report any unsafe conditions.
• Treat Customers and Associates with respect and courtesy; stay friendly and professional.
• Assist Customers with merchandise and answers to questions; greet customers and thank them at checkout.
• Provide prompt responses to Customer Service calls and escalate when needed.
• Represent and support the Ross brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting) and replenish restroom supplies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code.
• Move merchandise to the floor per guidelines and keep departments neat and merchandised.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the floor and maintain brand familiarity within departments.
• Understand Loss Prevention and MOS policies and protection standards.
• Safeguard confidential information, cash and merchandise at all times.
• Follow cash, check, charge card and refund procedures and ensure accuracy in transactions.
• Work with urgency to maximize productivity and follow Store best practices.
