Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company operates Break Time convenience stores in Missouri. Break Time Sales Associates assist customers, process sales, and perform essential store operations to keep the location clean, stocked, and compliant with company policies.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions, maintaining merchandise, and supporting food service while ensuring accuracy and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer service-oriented person who enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to make change and complete shift reports.
• Ability to learn new concepts, use technical materials, and operate a computer.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock, fronting and facing merchandise.
• Operate POS system and basic store technology; count product and make change.
• Train new employees on policies and procedures and assist with loss control.
• Follow food preparation guidelines and ensure proper temperatures and freshness.
• Keep the store clean and organized, adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and management professionally.
• Support management in store operations and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with merchandising, promotions, and vendor check-in.
• Assist with food service responsibilities and kitchen equipment as needed.
