Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions, making suggestions when appropriate.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of store specials and promotions.
• Recommend items to ensure customers get what they want and need.
• Review product dates to ensure freshness and quality.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and uphold safety procedures.
• Assist with seasonal ads and promotions and stay current with store offerings.
• Report safety risks or incidents promptly and cooperate with management.
• Maintain a cooperative, non-confrontational approach in high-paced environments.
