Job summary

Dollar General Corporation in the United States is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, stock and rotate items, and help protect company assets.

You will also step in for the Store Manager in their absence and help open/close the store per direction. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and supervisory experience preferred,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Retail supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong cash handling and basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers while providing superior service leadership.
• Operate the cash register, total purchases, collect payments, and help customers.
• Stock merchandise, restock, rotate on shelves, and build displays.
• Keep the store clean, take out trash, mop floors, and tidy restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager guidance.
• Perform duties of Sales Associate in the absence of Store Manager.
