Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs and exceeding expectations. The role includes bagging, carryout, parcel pickup, and loading merchandise into customer vehicles, plus returning carts to the store.

Candidates should be able to read, write, and understand English, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and work well with the team to drive customer satisfaction and sales.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates who only speak English.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Follow correct bagging procedures and provide carryout and parcel pickup service.
• Load merchandise into customer vehicles and return shopping carts to the store.
