Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying needs, exceeding expectations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping visit, including bagging, carryout, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning carts.

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform essential duties, be at least 16, have strong communication skills, English reading/writing ability, and be willing to train and work with the team to boost satisfaction

Qualifications

• Associates must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and loading duties.

Responsibilities

• Take care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations.
• Follow bagging procedures, provide carryout and parcel pickup service.
• Load merchandise into customer vehicles and return shopping carts to the store.
