Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier in Baltimore to ensure smooth checkout and friendly customer service. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing purchases at POS, and maintaining shelves while promoting CLUB Membership and in-store pickup options.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be capable of handling cash, calculating discounts, and using a POS system with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Check out customers’ merchandise through the POS registers.
• Stock and straighten shelves in the area when not ringing up product.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer by assisting buying decisions.
