Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Cashier at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, MA. You will manage the register, greet guests, and ensure accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

Responsibilities include balancing the cash drawer, assisting customers, stocking items, and maintaining a clean workspace while following safety policies. Prior cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS accurately and handle cash and card transactions.
• Greet customers and assist while anticipating needs.
• Balance cash drawer and complete cashier slips; make deposits as needed.
• Adhere to Aramark cash handling policies and procedures.
• Know product details to assist customers and process transactions correctly.
• Perform opening/closing procedures as assigned for the unit.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at shift end.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked and replenished as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
