Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers at the check lane.
Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
Operate POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, and other tender types.
Adhere to cash handling limits and loss-prevention policies.
Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
Follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
Maintain awareness of ads and promotions, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Uphold food safety regulations and safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions throughout the store.
