Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier in Kentucky to handle checkout transactions and deliver friendly, helpful service. You will greet customers, process sales, suggest products, and promote CLUB Membership and in-store pickup.

Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of promotions, restocking when not at the register, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS registers.
• Inform customers about sales and promotions and membership programs.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up merchandise.
• Provide a legendary experience by understanding customer needs and recommending products.
