Job summary

AC&T Co. Inc. is seeking a store associate to provide courteous customer service, handle cash, stock shelves, and ensure compliance with alcohol, tobacco, lottery and food service regulations. You will maintain inventory, assist with store records, and report incidents to supervision.

Must be at least 18, speak and write English, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend and extended hours may be required, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age or have a work permit.
• Ability to speak, read, understand and write English.
• Ability to perform math calculations to make change and complete shift reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper customer relations and service.
• Maintain contact with the Store Manager.
• Follow store procedures including security and reporting procedures.
• Maintain inventory control and store records.
• Ensure cleanliness and merchandising per manager standards.
• Comply with laws on alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and food service.
• Report emergencies to the Store Manager and avoid unauthorized expenditures.
