Job summary

AC&T is seeking a store associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, and help maintain a clean, well-merchandised store in Maryland. You will follow all policies, handle cash with accuracy, and report to the Store Manager on shift.

Qualifications include at least 18 years old, English proficiency, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekend and extended hours may be required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least eighteen years of age or have a work permit.
• Speak, read, understand and write the English language.
• Perform mathematical calculations to make change and balance shift reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper customer relations and service.
• Maintain contact with the Store Manager.
• Maintain authorized store hours as determined by the General Office.
• Adhere to all store procedures and policies including security and check cashing.
• Maintain inventory control.
• Safekeeping of company property and store records.
• Maintain vendor control during shift.
• Keep store clean and well-merchandised.
• Follow state/federal laws on sale of alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and food service.
• Abide by company rules and regulations.
• Report emergencies or accidents to the Store Manager.
• No authority to sign contracts or incur cash expenditures.
