MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Retail Cashier for the Eureka Store. You will greet customers, assist on the sales floor, and answer the phone with a professional greeting.

You will operate the cash register, balance cash, and process transactions while maintaining store cleanliness and organization. The role emphasizes teamwork and safety, with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; no degree required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and management.
• Organized and able to interact with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and acknowledge them as they enter the store; assist on the sales floor and answer phones professionally.
• Operate the store cash register; process cash and card transactions and balance at shift end.
• Stock, straighten and maintain cleanliness of the store area to standard.
• Request manager assistance for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
• Maintain professional relationships with team members and leadership; cross-functionally communicate.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles debris-free; adhere to dress code.
• Support asset security by safeguarding cash and donated/purchased items.
