Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout area
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers per policy
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco)
• Report pricing discrepancies and ensure proper coupons and promotions are applied
• Maintain awareness of store promotions and ads, and stay current with safety procedures
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with questions about products
