B’s Ace Hardware is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to provide outstanding customer service and efficiently process sales. You will operate the cash register, greet customers, and support promotions while maintaining a neat and welcoming register area.

Responsibilities include accurate transactions, handling receipts and refunds, and assisting with stock and store tasks as needed. 18+ and background check required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Able to pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
• Strong customer service ethic.
• Ability to think on your feet and maintain a smile while assisting customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service following mystery shop standards.
• Ring on registers accurately and maintain cash at registers.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers.
• Greet customers as they enter the store.
• Maintain orderly appearance of register area and stocked supplies.
• Encourage customers to open Ace Rewards card.
• Answer phone calls.
• Tactfully and pleasantly interact with customers.
• Stay aware of promotions and advertisements.
• Perform other tasks assigned by store management.
