Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa, Inc. is seeking a part-time Cashier for the Dyersville store in Dyersville, IA.

The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, processing donations, stocking and merchandising, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. You will be part of a team, reporting to the Store Manager, with duties including unloading donations, tagging merchandise, providing receipts, and delivering friendly service consistent with our mission.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; substitution may be possible with military service or related full-time employment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull fifty pounds with assistance.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Forklift license if able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and ensures a positive customer experience.
• Operates cash register and processes transactions efficiently.
• Sorts and grades donations and shipments for stocking.
• Assists with loading/unloading and merchandising.
• Provides tax receipts to donors.
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety, and collaborates with team.
