Job summary

Century Next in Ruston, LA is seeking a part-time Teller to serve bank clients, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist with online banking and debit cards, while adhering to banking regulations.

The role emphasizes strong interpersonal communication, accuracy in cash handling, ability to work across multiple locations if required, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service; shifts 8am-6pm with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or High school diploma; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Two years bank teller experience or two years of counting, receiving, disbursing and balancing money, and executing financial transactions.
• Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field AND two years of bank teller experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining customer service standards, greeting customers and facilitating a welcoming environment.
• Performing as a paying and receiving teller in bank lobby and/or drive-thru as needed.
• Responding to customer inquiries and concerns and creating positive solutions.
• Maintaining supplies and organization of work items.
• Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures concerning teller functions.
• Balancing cash drawer in accordance with bank procedures.
• Answering questions about bank products and services.
• Promoting the bank’s products and services.
