Job summary

Civil Recruit is seeking a Storeroom Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, stocking, and dispatching goods in a storeroom or customer site. You will unload/load, stock items, and use data entry to keep stock records, with training provided for forklift operation.

A customer-facing role with safety and dress code requirements, requiring basic computer skills. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with standard hours Mon-Thurs 7:30 am–6:00 pm and an initial training period Mon-Fri 7:30 am–4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse experience or training.
• Basic computer skills; MS-Office, email.
• Able to read safety rules and work orders.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Dress code and PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process and load orders and shipments according to schedules.
• Unload, receive, and store incoming goods; check for damage.
• Sort, label, move, and store goods on racks or shelves.
• Weigh or count items for distribution within the warehouse.
• Prepare, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods; use pick sheets.
• Load trucks; ensure proper securing and routes.
• Enter data into database to maintain stock records; report discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Assist in inventory maintenance and safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
