Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six to twelve months experience handling cash and balancing.
• Prefer at least 2 years' experience working with the public.
• Must have experience with computers and basic software like Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to bank customers, including deposits, withdrawals, postings and information updates.
• Receive deposits and cash checks, verify balances per procedures for larger checks.
• Maintain currency/coin supply and be familiar with security equipment and safety procedures.
• Ensure teller transactions are balanced while on duty.
• Assist customers with questions to enhance relationships and verify account details.
• Introduce new banking services while following cross-selling policies.
