Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six to twelve months experience handling cash and balancing.
• Prefer at least 2 years' experience working with the public.
• Experience with computers and basic software such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism.
• Knowledge of bank products and services and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to bank customers including deposits, withdrawals, postings and information updates.
• Receive deposits and cash checks while verifying balances as required by procedures.
• Maintain currency and coin supply per bank policy and be familiar with security procedures.
• Balance all transactions recorded at the teller station while on duty.
• Assist customers with questions to enhance relationships and cross-sell services.
• Verify balances, update customer information and close out accounts as requested.
