Job summary

Dollar General store associate sought to be the point of contact for customers, assist in stocking, pricing, and merchandising, and help maintain clean, safe store conditions. You will follow plan-o-grams, unload trucks, and support with displays to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, bagging purchases, handling payments, and assisting with restocking and safety compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock rooms or on the sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate/face products on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and maintain plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register, handling transactions.
• Bag merchandise, take payments, and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners as needed.
• Clean front end of store, set up sidewalk displays when required.
• Follow company policies and procedures and protect company assets.
