Job summary

Interface, Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams in Scottsdale, AZ.

This hands-on role leads investigations from initial complaint through final resolution, using 8D, 5 Whys, and structured problem solving to improve product reliability and QMS documentation. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's in engineering or related field, experience in precision manufacturing or calibration environments, and strong technical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Ability to read engineering drawings, specs, calibration results and test data.
Experience investigating customer quality issues and manufacturing nonconformities.
Knowledge of QMS principles including complaint handling and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Lead customer complaint investigations from review to closure.
Coordinate containment, evaluation and testing activities.
Perform structured root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Whys and fault tree analysis.
Prepare customer-facing investigation reports and corrective action responses.
Maintain documentation within the QMS and communicate findings to customers.
