Job summary
AMAX is seeking a customer-facing Field Engineer to bridge customers, sales teams and internal engineering groups for OEM server and rack infrastructure solutions. You will support requirement discussions, architecture reviews, deployment activities and issue resolution across the full project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly communicative, customer‑oriented and able to coordinate across hardware, software, validation, manufacturing and quality teams while supporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong written and verbal communication for customer discussions.
- Experience coordinating across hardware, software, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Ability to travel for customer visits and onsite support.
- Experience supporting sales activities and customer meetings is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and AMAX engineering teams.
- Support sales teams during customer visits, technical presentations, and solution discussions.
- Coordinate with internal hardware, mechanical, thermal, BIOS/BMC, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting system‑level issues during qualification and deployment phases.
