Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Applications Engineer to support customers and field sales teams using high-speed converters and integrated transceivers.

You will assess requirements, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with product hardware, software, and HDL teams on reference designs and tools. You will develop technical content, stay current on ADI products, and travel up to 10% for customer-site visits.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in electrical engineering; digital communications a plus.
• Seven+ years of experience in applications engineering, embedded systems design, or product development.
• Experience designing with or supporting high-speed ADCs/DACs, mixed-signal front ends, and RF transceivers.
• Direct customer-facing technical support experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer technical support and training via email, phone, virtual channels, and onsite visits.
• Assess customer system requirements and recommend products, signal chains, and reference designs.
• Support hardware and software platforms, evaluation systems, algorithms, system models, and full-stack reference designs.
• Review customer designs, diagnose issues, and guide customers to resolutions.
• Develop technical content including application notes and training material.
