Job summary

Alex is hiring Forward‑Deployed Engineers to design and implement how customers use the Alex platform within their hiring workflows. You will build integrations with dozens of applicant tracking systems and APIs, and own onboarding from setup through go‑live.

The role covers production deployments, monitoring, and root‑cause analysis, while voicing the customer’s needs to product engineers. You will work directly with customers, navigate undocumented APIs, and produce clear written explanations

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read, write, test, and ship code in production environments.
• Comfort navigating undocumented third‑party APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Strong written communication for clear product and technical explanations.
• Direct customer engagement without a buffer and ability to run focused sessions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement how customers use Alex within client workflows.
• Develop and maintain integrations with multiple applicant tracking systems and APIs.
• Manage onboarding steps: connections, permissions, field mapping, and go‑live procedures.
• Own production deployments, monitor health, and diagnose root causes.
• Advocate for customers by turning feedback into actionable product input.
