Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks and multi-task efficiently.
• Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. horizontally/vertically and push/pull carts as described, with or without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change; assist customers with information and resolve complaints.
• Follow front end procedures; assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean, orderly condition and communicate with front end management.
