Job summary

IRCameras is seeking an Apps/System Engineer to balance broad engineering tasks with customer engagement, driving sales of our infrared imaging product portfolio. You will be the initial technical contact for new prospects and a key intermediary between engineering, product management, and customers, handling system integration, verification, and validation.

Qualifications

• BS degree or 5 years of practical experience in a technical work environment.
• Hands-on build and test tasks, plus engineering design and analysis.
• Ability to interact with customers remotely and in person to support sales.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries for standard cameras, defining configurations meeting requirements.
• Support custom opportunities, capturing requirements and creating proposals.
• Technical lead for product testing (hardware, software, firmware).
• Lead documenting internal camera and software test procedures and support issues.
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues; document and resolve product issues from tests.
• Create and maintain product documentation (datasheets, ICDs, CAD models, manuals).
• Voice of the customer, feeding feedback to product management and engineering.
