Job summary

SAAZ Micro Inc. is seeking an experienced EO/IR Camera IPT Lead to drive development of advanced infrared and visible imaging products.

You will guide cross-functional teams through ROIC, FPA, camera electronics, FPGA/firmware, and software, translating customer needs into robust system specifications and performance targets. You will own architecture, requirements, testing, and risk management, lead design reviews, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in infrared/visible imaging product development.
• Hands-on testing of infrared/visible FPAs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with EO/IR camera systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of next-generation infrared and visible camera products from concept through production.
• Define architecture, system requirements, performance objectives, and roadmaps.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across ROIC design, detector/FPA engineering, electronics, FPGA/firmware, software, test, and manufacturing.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise in one or more areas.
• Translate customer requirements into product specifications.
• Lead technical reviews, risk management, verification planning, and design activities.
• Develop system-level performance budgets covering sensitivity, dynamic range, noise, latency, frame rate, power, and environmental performance.
• Lead integration, characterization, and validation of advanced FPAs and complete camera systems.
• Develop and oversee laboratory test plans for ROICs, FPAs, and camera products.
• Analyze imaging performance and optimize hardware, firmware, and algorithms.
• Coordinate activities with detectors, foundries, packaging, optics vendors, and manufacturing partners.
• Support proposals, customer presentations, technical reviews, and business development.
• Execute programs to meet technical, schedule, cost, and quality objectives while managing risks.
• Maintain strong technical relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
