Job summary

Perplexity is seeking an Applied AI Architect to help our customers turn Perplexity Computer into working solutions that drive measurable impact. This hands‑on, customer‑facing role sits at the intersection of solutions architecture, technical consulting, and program delivery.

You will work closely with Sales and Customer Success while serving as a quality filter for requests that require Product or Engineering.

Qualifications

5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions architecture or technical consulting.
Proven consultative discovery skills to define clear business problems.
Hands-on fluency with APIs, integrations, authentication, and data flows.
Experience delivering complex software implementations with stakeholder management.
Executive-ready communication to translate trade-offs to leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with stakeholders to map users, workflows, and decisions.
Design credible solutions showing how data, tools, and permissions interact.
Partner with sales on technical deal strategy and demos.
Define high-value workflows and consumption patterns for adoption.
Build hands-on prototypes and iterate on Computer skills and connectors.
Accelerate onboarding and provide second-level technical consultation.
Lead engagements with scope, milestones, and exit criteria.
Identify reusable assets from engagements for product feedback.
