Perplexity is hiring an Applied AI Architect to guide customers from discovery to production, bridging solutions architecture with technical delivery. You will work across presales, onboarding, adoption, and strategic engagements, aligning outcomes with business value.

You will lead technical discovery, design end-to-end workflows, and coordinate with Sales and Customer Success to ensure successful outcomes and expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions architecture or AI engineering.
• Proven consultative discovery skills to turn ambiguous requests into clear problems and plans.
• Hands-on fluency with APIs, integrations, authentication, data flows, and troubleshooting.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder engagements with defined scope and milestones.
• Strong judgement to distinguish education, configuration, implementation, and engineering issues.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical discovery with business leaders and technical teams to define outcomes.
• Design credible solutions detailing how people, data, tools, and approvals interact.
• Support opportunities with technical deal strategy, demos, and security coordination.
• Drive value-backed consumption and define usage patterns for expansion.
• Build hands-on by configuring, prototype, and iterating on Computer skills and workflows.
• Accelerate onboarding with second-level technical consultation for customer success.
• Run strategic engagements with scope, milestones, and exit criteria to closure.
• Improve escalation processes by providing decision-ready requests with evidence.
