Job summary

Retell AI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern to collaborate directly with customers and our engineering team in San Francisco Bay Area. You will build, test, and deploy AI voice solutions for real-world use cases, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production readiness of what we build.

This isn’t a side project—expect real deployments, shipping code, and rapid impact. You’ll translate customer learnings back into product improvements and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
You enjoy building things and figuring out how they work.
Experience programming in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a similar language.
Open to ambiguous technical problems and eager to ship real customer-facing solutions.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy technical solutions for real customer use cases.
Join customer calls, understand problems, and translate them into technical solutions.
Debug issues across APIs, integrations, data, and AI systems.
Write code, test solutions, and deploy to production.
Identify patterns and collaborate with engineering to improve the product.
Own projects from initial customer problem to deployment and iteration.
