Job summary

Avallon is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to implement AI agents for insurance clients, handling integrations, tuning, and mentor product teams. You’ll work directly with customers, balancing hands-on engineering with strategic project management in a fast-growing startup environment.

You’ll spend roughly half the time coding and integrating, and the rest in stakeholder communication, scoping, and delivering tailored workflows across claims platforms and CRMs in NYC office.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years building or implementing technical solutions.
• Experience explaining AI capabilities to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong API integration and data flow understanding.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship from first demo to production deployment.
• Build custom integrations, APIs, and workflows to connect voice AI and document agents.
• Prompt engineering, voice customization, and agent behavior refinement.
• Gather feedback to influence product and engineering roadmaps.
• Guide customers through decisions about AI agent design and system integration.
