Job summary

Avallon is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers in NYC to partner with customers, write code, design integrations, and tune AI systems for maximum value from our platform. You’ll spend 30–50% on hands-on technical work and the rest on customer communication, project management, and strategy, working directly with customers to map workflows and deploy scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years building or implementing technical solutions.
• Foundational coding skills in Python or TypeScript to build integrations and debug issues.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship from first demo to production deployment for each customer.
• Build custom integrations, APIs, and workflows connecting voice AI and document agents to customer systems.
• Tune AI systems via prompt engineering, voice customization, and behavior refinement.
• Channel feedback to product/engineering to shape roadmap.
• Guide customers through decisions about AI agent design, workflow automation, and system integration.
