Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Florence, SC is seeking a customer service specialist to assist customers with order entries and inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely responses. You will be part of a team that supports America’s food distribution system.

Responsibilities include entering orders and credits, processing invoicing data, helping customers with problems, and contacting vendors for samples or information. You will also handle routine admin tasks and participate in trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months customer service experience in a call center or related area preferred.
• Ability to handle inquiries and enter data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Input customer orders.
• Input customer credits.
• Input order and invoicing information accurately and promptly.
• Assist customers with orders and problems; contact vendors for samples.
• Provide informative and professional assistance to customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform administrative duties such as checking faxes and mail daily.
• Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
