You will operate the front end scanning equipment and cash register, handle transactions, maintain store sanitation, follow health and safety guidelines, and collaborate with teammates. High School Diploma or GED not required, prior experience not necessary.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED. No prior experience required.
• Ability to greet customers and resolve questions professionally.
• Cash handling and checkout procedures; follow tobacco/alcohol sale guidelines.
• Comfort with assisting in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions; resolve concerns professionally.
• Operate front end scanning equipment and cash register; bag merchandise.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper funds handling; follow security measures.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and store layout to help customers.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with health/OSHA guidelines.
• Cooperate with coworkers to ensure smooth store function.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• May assist in other departments.
